Haynes和Shams都表示，戈登是執(zhí)行2025-26賽季球員選項(xiàng)（2280萬(wàn)美元），然后和掘金提前續(xù)約簽下3年（加上獎(jiǎng)金，約1.102億美元）頂薪合同。根據(jù)勞資協(xié)議，戈登最多可以和掘金簽下一份4年1.495億美元的續(xù)約合同，而掘金不愿意給這么一份合同，雙方最終折中達(dá)成了提前續(xù)約協(xié)議——4年1.33億美元（執(zhí)行球員選項(xiàng)+3年頂薪）。
2023年，戈登幫助掘金奪得隊(duì)史首冠。上賽季常規(guī)賽，戈登場(chǎng)均拿下13.9分6.5籃板3.5助攻；季后賽，戈登場(chǎng)均得到14.3分7.3籃板4.4助攻。
