穆迪在2021年首輪第14順位被勇士選中，隨后簽署了一份新秀合同，今年是合同的最后一年。
上賽季，穆迪為勇士出戰(zhàn)66場比賽，場均17.5分鐘可以得到8.1分，在得分、上場時間、籃板、搶斷和蓋帽方面均創(chuàng)下職業(yè)生涯新高。
穆迪在新賽季5場季前賽中三分球29投13中，命中率高達44.8%。
