據此前報道，勇士給庫明加開出了1年790萬美元的資質報價，庫明加想要的年薪遠超這個數字，但自由市場上暫時沒有球隊給他開出理想的報價，他目前仍然是受限制自由球員；
如果庫明加一直拖延下去，會發生什么呢？
根據勞資協議，勇士開出的這份資質報價會在10月1日（當地時間，下同）過期，但是是可以被延長的，被延長的資質報價則會在3月1日過期。
如果屆時（3月1日）庫明加仍然沒有簽下任何合同，那么這份資質報價就算作廢了，但庫明加仍然是受限制自由球員；
屆時他依然可以與任何球隊商量合同，而勇士依然擁有優先匹配權。
即，如果庫明加一直拖延下去，他的“受限制自由球員”身份不會有任何的改變。
