詹姆斯在6月30日執行了2025-26賽季價值5263萬美元的球員選項，將征戰NBA生涯第23個賽季。
2024-25賽季，詹姆斯為湖人出戰70場常規賽，場均拿下24.4分7.8籃板8.2助攻1搶斷；季后賽，詹姆斯出場5次，場均得到25.4分9籃板5.6助攻2搶斷1.8蓋帽。
