勞資協議專家Marks補充說，這是因為涉及到了杰倫-格林提前續約的“毒藥限制”——新秀合同的提前續約在交易時有限制，送出的薪金按照1250萬算，而太陽收入的薪金則按照2950萬算（新秀合同第4年和提前續約部分的平均年薪），這個限制將在7月1日過期，當地時間7月6日起則是可以正式簽約自由球員。
