2002年4月14日，CBA總決賽G2，上海對陣八一。上海中鋒姚明砍下26分23籃板3助攻4搶斷2蓋帽的超級數據，幫助球隊124-92戰勝隊對手，將比分扳成1-1。
姚明在CBA季后賽中一共12次砍下20+20的數據，該紀錄至今仍無人打破。
該系列賽最終上海隊奪得隊史首冠，打破了八一隊對于CBA冠軍長達7年的壟斷，同時也終結了八一在寧波此前56戰全勝的“神話”。
