談及當(dāng)今NBA三分球是否投得過多，文班表示：“在某種程度上我認(rèn)同（三分球過多這一觀點(diǎn)）。但我也認(rèn)為數(shù)據(jù)分析支持如今這種打法，而且防守策略得跟上。曾經(jīng)有過一段以突破型后衛(wèi)為主導(dǎo)的時(shí)代，現(xiàn)在聯(lián)盟中最出色的球員是揚(yáng)尼斯（字母哥）、約基奇、恩比德這些全能型大個(gè)子…… 目前我覺得，防守方面得跟上節(jié)奏，或許屆時(shí)各隊(duì)三分出手次數(shù)會(huì)減少。但從數(shù)據(jù)分析來看，現(xiàn)在的三分打法是有依據(jù)的。”
