在技巧挑戰(zhàn)賽的投籃環(huán)節(jié)，每人必須投三球，若投中就可以直接過(guò)，三球都未投中也可以進(jìn)入下一環(huán)節(jié)，但保羅與文班亞馬都故意瞎扔三球，搶時(shí)間直接進(jìn)入下一環(huán)節(jié)。這也讓他們被取消資格。
文班亞馬在接受采訪時(shí)表示，這個(gè)想法是他想出來(lái)的。
