體育資訊2月11日報道宣 由于濃眉和字母哥因傷缺席全明星，按照規則， NBA總裁亞當-蕭華將挑選兩名球員遞補參加全明星，分別頂替字母哥和濃眉。
此前，特雷-楊已經遞補為東部全明星，西部的遞補結果暫時還未出爐。
前NBA球員德懷特-霍華德更推道：“讓歐文遞補進入全明星吧。”
賽季至今，歐文場均能得到24.1分4.6籃板4.8助攻1.3搶斷。
