根據勞資協議，巴特勒每場比賽將損失1/145的年薪，也就是346543美元，上次禁賽7場合計損失約240萬美元，而本次禁賽兩場大約還會損失70萬美元左右。
據熱火隨隊記者Anthony Chiang報道，球員工會預計將提出申訴，對停賽提出異議，罰款將交由第三方保管，直到達成解決方案，這個過程可能需要一年的時間。
